RESOLVED: Minutes of the meeting held 3rd January 2024, were then approved as a true & correct record.

Monthly Report received & noted for Dale Ward & Beverley Rural/Beverley Town.
21/24 LITTLE WEIGHTON PLAYING FIELDS
Equipment – Quotation presented for Cradle Seat, fixtures, and fittings from Streetscape.
RESOLVED – Approved cost of £475.00 Nett.
Noticeboard to Playing Field Entrance – Works completed. Lockable unit.
Councillor Hayton asked for an onsite meeting to review the playing fields – This will take place once the weather & land is drier.

23/03895/TPO – TPO – WALKINGTON – 1972 (REF 262) A5 – Crown reduce 1 no. Beech tree (T25) as illustrated to lessen the end loading and crown clean to remove crossing and abrasion damaged branches and severely suppressed growth; Fell 1 no. Beech tree (T26) due to risk of whole tree failure due to main stem fracture and maintain remaining stem as a deadwood habitat at Risby Park Farm, Risby Lane, Walkington.
RESOLVED – That the Parish Council recommend approval with comments.
- RWE RENEWABLES –Representative to join the Dogger Bank South Wind Farms (DBS) Local Liaison Committee.

27/24 WARD COUNCILLORS REPORT
Councillor R Meredith reported on the Jocks Lodge Development and poor signage for cyclists. A noticeable Increase in traffic on Eppleworth Road and in Little Weighton, Walkington Road. Devolution consultation grants available following the ERYC Budget Meeting and a Nuclear Waste Facility being proposed in the Holderness area.

Chevron signage at entrance to Bentley – Proposed works w/e 18/02/2024.

Rowley Road Pavement repair – ERYC reported that they are working with their legal team regarding ownership. Quotations for temporary traffic management with traffic signals are being sourced so that they can set out a temporary walkway on the carriageway whilst repairs are being agreed, designed, and built.
Speed Bumps (Green Lane, Playing Field Entrance). Works scheduled for Mid-January did not take place. Clerk will contact ERYC.
Speed Issues raised again by Councillor N Armstrong – Clerk will chase PCSO Watts as she had previously agreed to attend with the Radar Speed Guns.
29/24 GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
Trees – Station View/The Butts. – Works completed.
Trees – Councillor Brown raised issues with tree height on Southwold. Agreed that the clerk will take photographs and forward to ERYC for information relating to ownership.
Humber Forest (ERYC Project Officer) will attend the March Meeting of the Council.
There being no further business, the Parish Council meeting closed at 8.25pm.
