RESOLVED: Minutes of the meeting held 4th March 2021, were then approved as a true & correct record.
53/21 LOCAL POLICING TEAM
To receive Mar 21 – Ebulletin OPCC (Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner). – Noted.
54/21 – LITTLE WEIGHTON PLAYING FIELDS
With the Government Roadmap now in place to ease restrictions, the Playing Field Gate will open from 29th March 2021.
Additional bark has been placed around the play equipment and the Football Dugouts have now been removed.
It was agreed to put up signage displaying ‘Do Not Climb’ on the Small Container following reports of children climbing onto the roof.
Fencing around the Dog Walk Area had been reported as broken and rotten in places. Upon Further inspection the wooden stakes are rotten and requires replacing.

60/21 WARD COUNCILLORS REPORT
Councillor Meredith advised:
Resident Telecom regarding Playing Field Park Gates – (Discussed earlier).
Meeting re Croft Park 19.04.2021 – discussed tree conditions that were applied in 2006, 5 years protections from 2011 could remove with out recourse.
Flytipping – East Of Riplingham towards Walkington reported, also Risby Lane which is a regular dumping ground for tipped waste.
‘Scam Awareness’ – Cllr Meredith will forward to the Clerk details of recent scams
Village Walkabouts – ‘Streetscene’ – 2022 planned for Little Weighton
61/21 HIGHWAYS
In Councillor Gills absence the clerk updated the Council regarding the Chalk Path on Rowley Road. Stoneledge have pledged to provide the Chalk, and this information has been passed to Steven Murray (East Riding Highways Engineer). Now awaiting further information from Highways.
62/21 GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
a)Village Planters/Entry Signs – Article in the Beacon has now been placed to see if any local artists wished to sketch a design for the Parish.
