Residents expressed their concern with vehicles blocking the end of New Village Road. At times, the Waste Removal Lorries have not been able to access properties. Cars have been left parked overnight ready for works at the Garage.

Lock to the Mower Store has now been replaced and both Football Teams informed of the new Key and location.

Notification received today from ERYC Planning that Application: 21/04377/PLF Erection of a detached dwelling following demolition of existing garage block with associated works for parking and access together with pedestrian link to footpath on Old Village Road for new dwelling (Revised scheme of 20/00214/PLF) – Application has been withdrawn.
Councillor Elvidge asked the East Riding Councillors present if an officer can at a Western area Planning Committee Meeting recommend a change to a planning application, for example amend from a dwelling to an annex? Councillors advised that it can be possible to make recommendation, but it would need to be bought back as a new application should this be the case.

Drainage Easement – Letter sent to Mrs Winter. – No response.
Queens Platinum Jubilee Coins have been purchased for the Children at Little Weighton Primary School and bunting/materials now being sourced.
The Jubilee Programme has been printed in the Newsletter. A follow up guide will be distributed prior to the bank holiday weekend.

61/22 WARD COUNCILLORS REPORT – Cllr Gill advised of a meeting he had facilitated following a site visit at Croft Park. Meeting to be held Monday 11th April 2022 at 3.30pm. This meeting is for residents to attend to hear of the managers plans for the site.
Councillor Mrs Smith advised that young people were invited to nominate themselves, write a manifesto outlining what they would like to change for the better, and then go on the campaign trail in order to secure the votes which will see them elected as a member of the UK Youth Parliament.
4 Young people 11-18 were elected, who will become the East Riding members of the UK Youth Parliament and get to sit in the Houses of Parliament in Westminster and vote on issues that are important to young people and help make a positive change for everyone.
62/22 HIGHWAYS
- Rowley Road Markings – Will be repainted July 2022.
- Flytipping reported and is an ongoing problem with specific hotspots around the Parish.
63/22 GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
Updates on the following:
- Lilac Grove – Broken timber posts to Lilac Grove. Clerk is seeking quotations.
- Bench in memory of Barrie Heaton was discussed. Photos of durable recycled
products to be sent to the family for their comments.
