A Minutes Silence was held in Memory of Councillor Mrs Elma Hunter who had recently passed away. Councillor E Hunter had served on the Council for over 20 years.
The silence was observed by all the Councillors in attendance.

175/22 – LITTLE WEIGHTON PLAYING FIELDS
Playing Fields. – Play Bark (Ordered September) awaiting delivery.
Play Equipment – Remedial works to the ground have now been completed. Installation date 19th December 2022.
Surface Matting quotations – ongoing
Electricity Building/outhouse – Electric Meter back board now replaced. Doors to the housing unit require replacing as they are rotten. It was agreed that John Tunnicliffe will be asked to quote for the works. New electricity warning sign to be ordered.

Monitoring Items
Stoneledge – Reports from Councillor Richardson of lorries leaving site before 7.00 am. Action: Report to Enforcement Officer.

181/22 WARD COUNCILLORS REPORT
Councillor Meredith reported that no sites were selected for Little Weighton under the ERYC Local Plan Consultation.

Maintenance on the ‘Caution – Speed Sign’ on White Gap Road has been carried out.
The Ferriby 10k Road Run will be held on the 20th of January 2023.
182/22 HIGHWAYS
A Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) is being processed for revised speed limit on Riplingham Road & Rowley Road.
Reflective posts near Bentley Village entrance were reported on the 20th of November 2022 and required replacing. Councillor Elvidge reported that they had been installed incorrectly and in the wrong location. Action: Councillor Meredith/Clerk
183/22 GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
- Pest Control – Traps checked regularly, rodents present and removed.
- Memorial Bench – Due to be delivered W/c 12th December 2022. Location to be clarified.
- Winter Salt – Agreed that the path from Village Hall to the Shop will be salted when temperatures fall, weather dependant.
